Biography

Wang Zhiguo, Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, Medical Aesthetics Center, Chief Physician, MD.

His clinical expertise includes oculoplastic and breast plastic surgery, including ptosis correction, double eyelid surgery, canthoplasty, eye bag repair, eyelid skin laxity correction, implant-based breast augmentation, autologous fat breast augmentation, breast reduction, nipple plasty, mastopexy, and breast reconstruction, as well as rhinoplasty, skin tumor reconstruction, and comprehensive treatment of hemangiomas.

He is currently a member of the Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, a council member of the Aesthetic Medicine and Regenerative Medicine Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, a member of the Qingdao Branch of the Chinese Society of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology, a member of the Plastic Surgery Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, and a member of the Aesthetic Surgery Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association.

He has served as principal investigator for one Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, one Excellent Young Talents Fund project of the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, and one National Natural Science Foundation of China application fund; participated in four National Natural Science Foundation of China projects; undertook and completed two Qingdao Science and Technology Support Program projects; published more than 30 papers in domestic and international journals, including 10 SCI-indexed papers; and received one Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Achievement Award.
